So , the second half of season has ended! As i had mentioned before in my previous post, I came to Germany to compete in a badminton league. For the first half of the season,my team was doing really and we did not lost to any other teams, of course I all know it is because God is good and how great He is. Now , the whole season has ended, and again I want to praise God for making my team the Champion. Without Him, I wouldn't able to tell all of you all the marvelous things that have happened in my life and all the wonderful things He has done in my life .
When I last wrote, i shared that I played 12 matches and lost none. Since the season has ended, I think is necessary for me to tell all of you how God had fought the battles for me. All together, i played 28 matches, 14 singles, 13 doubles and 1 mix doubles. I won all 14 singles matches, 12 doubles matches which mean I lost only 1 double and mix double! Here I am writing to all of you telling y'all that without God , all of these would not have happen. I give all the glory to God Almighty.
I'm here in germany for 6 months now and i experienced many ups and down. Let's get real, life is not always a walk in the park or a sea of brightly colored roses. Within this 6months, i often injured myself while competing and training, I often have problems with my visa , there were conflicts between me and my teammates and also manager, health issues and so on. Things can get pretty ugly sometime in life, and I can assure you that nobody's life is just a bowl of cherries, where everything is going well just as you want to them to be. But there is this one and only living God that created the universal , who formed the world by his words, who made all human being in his likeness , who sit on the throne of heaven hearing the prayers of the needy and being active and alert to help the poor, who never leave nor forsake his children, who heals the broken hearted and those who are sick , who washes away all of our sins and prepared a place for us all in heaven, who never grow tired or weary in blessing us with all good things, even till our cup overflows, He is the one who helped me and delivered from all of my troubles, he healed all of my injuries and sickness, He was my strength and refuge in times of trouble and trials. I am here to give him all the glories and to share what he has done for me.
I have already shared how He defeated all my opponents in sport and made us champion,so now i am telling you what he has done for me out of the world of sports.
Few months ago, when I first arrived Germany and after i played my first match, my friend and I went to London.It was necessary for us to go to London , out of the Schengen countries, which mean those countries that only allow us to stay in their countries for only 3months within 6months, and London wasn't a Schengen country. And since we must be here in europe for 6months because of the league, we can only stay in Germany for 3months and then London for another 3months or else we will be deported back to Malaysia.We chose London because we have friends living there, so it will be much cheaper if we stay in their house for 3months. First off, i want to say It is a blessing from God that even at such young age, I am able to travel around the world. But the trip did not turned out how we expected, as a matter of fact, it was one of my worst nightmare. When we arrived in london, we were stopped at the passport control. The passport controller asked us many questions , checked our luggage and so on. That wasn't my first time to London, I visited London 3 times 2years ago, so all these questions wasn't new to me at all. But somehow , they weren't convinced that we were just there to visit London, so they stopped us and sent us to the detention room . They told us that they will come back to ask more questions in a few hours , and then only they decide whether we could enter UK or not. So while we were in the room , or what we so called "BOX" , I prayed and waited patiently. We have nothing with us, our bags were placed in another room, no cell phone, no laptop, no nothing. We have nothing at all and all we could do was just wait! Their so called "few hours" eventually became 20 hours!!! Which mean after we arrived in London, we did nothing but waited in a small room for 20 hours . So they questioned us and bla bla bla.In the end, they decided to send us back to Germany!!!! Unbelievable !!! After waited for so long, they decided to send us back again to Germany, and never allowed us to enter to UK again unless we make clearance back in Malaysia.
So now we have a huge problem, we need to look for another country to go due to the Schengen agreement.As I was meditating on God's promises . God said, All things work together for good for those who love the Lord. ( Romans 8: 28) . So all i could do was to just rest in his promises and prayed . I really believed that when God said ALL THINGS, He meant it! And Bless God, He was faithful and forever will be , He sent us to Croatia. In Croatia, we got a place to stay for free and food was provided daily for free too. Moreover, we get to train with the Croatia national junior team daily and also to coach them. How great is our God!!! As much as I wanted to go to London,where the Lord sent us was way better. Why? If we were to stay in London for 3months, we need to pay for everything except only for accommodation , but in Croatia, we do not even need to spend 1cent for 3months!!! Glory to the King of kings and Lord of lords.
While staying in Croatia, we are so blessed that God introduced many new people into my life. And right now, they are introducing me to more clubs in different countries . This is really good, because clubs are willing to pay a lot of money to have players over to coach and to play for their team! Something like football. This is how God bless me financially. He made a better way for me according to his plan ,for it is written " Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the thoughts i think towards you says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and hope! " How faithful and truthful is our God!!! Having God in my life is like having my heart beating all day long to keep me alive, without Him, I will be like a walking dead man.
During my stay here in europe, I do not even have to spend 1 cent if I choose not to, because accommodation , meals, and daily needs are provided. Not just that, traveling around europe was also consider free for me, none of it was spent using my own money.Besides that,I get paid in euros for coaching and playing for the team and this is no "small" money. God really blessed me and He has been blessing me ever since I turned to Him,He is my source and my refuge , He is my strength and always will be my God.
There were times that bad things happened to me, but i learned how to trust in God and i am still learning to do so completely.God said in His word, " in this life you will have trouble, but take heart, for i have overcome the world".
I am very happy that God had bless me greatly, but i think the best moment within these 6months is when God used me to changed one of my best friend's life. We were friends since when we were 12 and both of us used trained together in the national team. He was a strong buddhist .I shared many of my testimony to him and God also did some miracles in his life. I started sharing and minister to him a year ago , And this year while we were in Croatia, he decided to gives his life to the Lord and right now he is a strong believer . One of the many miracles that God did was while we back in Malaysia. We were on our way to a shopping complex . But while we were on our way, the car stop moving.NO MORE PETROL !! We tried to start the the engine, but it wasn't working. So I said to him" when I say Go, start the engine again and step on the accelerator." So in the car, I prayed and after I said AMEN, i said NOW! He did what i asked him to do and the car started moving.We drove for another 1 KM until we reached a petrol kiosk, filled up the petrol and continue our journey again. Praise God!!He is always good to us. So Right now he is eager to know more about our God and savior , and also praying fervently for his family to be saved. There isn't anything better than to see how God used you to change one's life .
I often injured myself during training. All sorts of injury such as knee injury, sprained neck, wrist injury, back injury ,heel aching , and twisted ankle. But instead of going to the doctor, every single time I went straight to God. Now I am not saying that doctor are useless, but why go to the doctor when you have someone that heals for free and gave a better healing than doctor?
I believe that doctor are God's tool on earth as well, but only God can heal me completely and perfectly.This I am very sure!
For it is written, " exodus 15:26 - I am Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you" and again it is written " Hebrew 7:25 - Therefore He is able also to save / heal (sozo) to the uttermost,( completely, perfectly, finally and for all time and eternity ) those who come to God through Him....". Of course there are instantaneous healing and progressive healing, but with patient and faith, God will heal us. I just want to thank God that He is a faithful God, never once fail!
As a conclusion, with Jesus Christ I have victories, healing, deliverance , wealth , hope, comfort, strength and most importantly, the kingdom of God!
Again I want to say, don't be upset when bad things happen to you, because everyone is going through the same thing, but with God, you can overcome them once and for all.
To all the christian, do not give up for He hasn't and will not leave nor forsake you. Many christian often wondered, why is it that after they became a believer ,after they got right with God, there are so many problems and trials than before but the non-believers are doing so well? Why bad things happen to good people , to God's beloved children and not to those who doesn't belong to Him? Well, John 10:10 says, " The devil does not come except only to steal ,kill and destroy, but I have come, so that you may have life, and you will have it more abundantly".
This is a strong verse from Jesus himself. I will explain why. You see, it is written that the devil doesn't come at all, but unless to steal ,kill and destroy. These are the only 3 things that the devil will ever do, so you can assure that he is very good at it. And since Jesus said the devil doesn't come unless to steal ,kill and destroy, this mean unless you have something that the devil can steal, can kill or can destroy, the devil will just leave you alone.After you turned to God, you are saved , whatever he has and is belongs to you. Which mean, you gain life, healing, blessing, happiness, wealth and so on. Only at this moment, devil will come because you have something that he could steal ,kill and destroy. And now you know why some of the wickedest person on earth and many non-believers are doing well on earth as if they are god themselves, because they have already belong to the devil, they are already dead, so why bother them? For an example, how can you kill a man if he is already dead? if you take a knife to stab a dead man, he will give you no respond, no matter how many times you stab him, he will still remain the same, DEAD. So it is the same here,ever since Adam and Eva sinned, human race lost life and belong to the devil. But after Christ came, redeemed all mankind, died for our sins and was raised from the dead, we are again reconciled to God. Jesus Christ , though he was and is God ,humbled himself , came down on earth from heaven to die for our sins, and to give us eternal life. He took up all of our punishments and bought all of us with his precious blood. What an amazing grace!! That is why devil is 24/7 trying to steal,kill and destroy us and he will never stops. But praise God because Jesus then added, because of all these, he came to undo the works of the devil, he came to give us a more abundantly life to all who believes in Him. He gave the right to be son of the most high God and make all of us right before GOd the father and also prepared a place for us to live forever after we leave planet earth. So now you know, why we christian are often persecuted, often troubled and having all sorts of trials and tribulation. By right, we ought to thank God for every trials and problems we faced, because it is when we face troubles ,then only we get to see how God deliver us . Besides, without a "TEST" you will not have a "TESTIMONY" . Every time you overcame a test, it then became your testimony to glorify God. I wouldn't be able to share this testimony to all of you if everything is going perfectly well too. So rejoice and be of good cheer in times of trouble, because God is on his way to deliver you and to bring you out of that situation strong. Glory be God!
God also gave me the chance to visit other countries like barcelona, turkey and Austria. I just can't thank Him enough for what He has done in my life.
You know , people always say that i am lucky and my life is easy,but i always say "it has nothing to do me, is all God's plan and He is the one who make things happen". I have seen so many life changed after receiving our Lord Jesus Christ. So many great testimonies ! So I am here to tell you that if today you hear His voice, do not harden your heart, but be quick to receive his forgiveness and be His child. For all of us have a perfect Father who is heaven, He loves us no matter what . But the question is, are you willing to be His child and to be blessed? He is always waiting for you.Do not wait before it is too late.
