My Story

This is my story. 

I am Jonathan Lee ,most people call me Jon. I grew up in a christian family and also grew up in church. I thank God for christian dad and mom . When I was young, my parents used to always tell me stories from the bible and I knew a little bit about Samson  ,Noah, King David and Jesus. I am so glad that I knew the truth even at such young age.When I was a kid, i always went to church and i enjoyed the praise and worship, whenever i have trouble, i will pray to God hoping that I will be delivered and most of the time, God answered my prayers. As a kid, we always have pure faith, we tend to just believe and never doubt. I remember when I was 10, me and my family were on our way to Genting Highland but unfortunately , it was raining season. On our way up to Genting,the sky gets darker and darker, it was cloudy and it looks like it was going to rain heavily for the next few days. My dad then said," Jon , pray to God and ask God not to send the rain down " so I prayed and for the next few days, there was no rain. Even though the sky got darker and darker But GOD, God have stop it. But as soon as we left Genting Highland, it started to rain heavily, and the rain never stopped for the next few days. God held the rain until all of us left Genting, then only He let the rain came pouring down. 

My parents are both very active in sport, so they often brought to the sport center to get me involve with sports. They play table tennis, badminton, tennis and so on. Since I was young, they sent me and my brothers for badminton lesson, swimming lesson and also table tennis. But at the end, i chose badminton. I started playing badminton at the age of 5. Never really went for any proper training, I would just play with my dad. My dad was my coach back then, he taught me how to hold a racket, taught how to move on the court and so on. Right until i was 8 or 9, he sent me to a training center for a proper training. At the age of 11, I joined the state team. I remember when i first joined the team, i was last in the ranking list. I lost to all of the other players and I was really bad in badminton. But somehow, God gave me the strength to continue and he gave me wisdom every time i compete. At the end of first year i joined the team, I was already ranking number one. I beat all of them and i was always the top player ever since.( Under 12 in malacca). My first gold medal i got was also at the age of 11. I competed in a under-age tournament and it was under 12. I have to compete against players who are 1 year older than me. But God was so good to me, He won all the matches for me and i was the champion for double. After i turned 12, I focus more on badminton already. I still study , but that wasn't my priority anymore. This is because when you're 12, there's a lot of under-12 tournament and at the end of the year coaches from the national team are coming to scout for new players. I was determined to enter the national team, and of course for my dad. He had wasted a lot of his time, bringing me to hall for training and then picked me up after training, and he put a lot of effort in it. I do not remember whether I prayed for this or not,but God is always faithful. I started to get more medals and started to train more. At the end of the year, I was selected to the national team for trials.Only the best in every states are able to go for this trials. I beat most of them and I was selected. I was really happy because I am officially representing Malaysia. But i have to leave my family and go to the sport school in Kuala Lumpur. We stayed there , studied there and trained there. 

I still pray before i went to bed, but i wasn't active in church anymore, but that doesn't affect my study or badminton. My badminton got better and better and i started to compete in international tournaments. I went to many countries for tournaments such as Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore , Netherlands , Germany and other countries at such young age.(I am really a very blessed guy, able to do such things at such young age, Only God can do it). Right until i turned 16,my lifestyle changed. I never pray anymore, i never attend church, I was so far away from God and i started to do stuff that i shouldn't do.I started to go nightclubs , drinking , commit adultery , stealing and so on. But something bad happened when i was 16. I found out that both of tibia cracked and i couldn't train that much. Coach cut back my tournaments and my condition got worse. At the other hand, i partied even harder.I started to hang around with rich people and lived a glamorous life.Even then, I still travel to many countries for free ,but is not for tournament anymore,Is for party and just have fun). I got many things for free and get to know more and more rich dudes. Life wasn't the same anymore. At the age of 17, i could not train anymore because of my leg  , and so i had to stopped training for 6 months. To me, that wasn't important anymore, all i cared was party and girls. Eventually, i left the national team because my leg wasn't doing well, so i went to college. As a national badminton player, it was really easy for me to get a full sport-scholarship in malaysia. I got it and started to study again. I get to know more people and party even more often.Now i would say my life is good isn't it? I could get what i want from my rich friends , i live a life that most teenagers want to,and i travelled to many other countries even at such young age.  I went on like this for years until i was 19. May 2010,something happened .My friend invited me to an christian event and normally i won't go, so i said no but she kept calling and asked me to attend. in the end, i said yes reluctantly . I went and the first thing i said to my friend when i first saw her was " do you want to go clubbing later?" because it was a saturday night, but all she did was laugh. I grabbed a seat and was just waiting for the whole thing to end.  The preacher came on stage and started preaching. I wasn't really listening, but all of a sudden, the spirit of God felt on me. I started to cried and when i closed my eyes, i saw all the wrong things i have done and i was very ashamed of it. For the very first time i was ashamed of what i did . My heart was very pain and when the preacher asked for an altar call, i ran out and kneel down before God. My heart was still very pain and i felt naked at the moment. After kneeling down, my heart started to burn as if there was fire burning in my heart,but i felt very comfortable and very peaceful , then i knew my sins are forgiven so i said to God," God I repent right now, i am going to change and i am going to follow you now" . I left that place as a different person. After leaving that place, i received 4 miraculous call. First call was from my dad, He called and he told me that someone wanted to sponsor me to Germany for a league tournament for 6 months and asked whether i was interested or not. I was shocked, because i had already left the national team for 2years , and i never went for any training ever since, so there is no way that this guy have had seen me played before. I said yes obviously and deep down in my heart, i know that this is a blessing from God. After the first call, my friend called to tell me that a badminton company wanted to sponsor me badminton equipment . Everything was right on time. Then a movie director called to asked whether i was interested to act in short film. To be an actor was always my dream.LOL. So i agreed and then the fourth call was from my friend, he said he want to sponsor some stuff that worth more than 1K. These 4 calls really blew my mind away. RIght then i knew, God is always the best. 

So I went back , and the first thing i did was to read the bible. I thought to myself,since now I have been forgiven, so I'm for sure going up heaven, and what if I do not know any spiritual things, that would be bad for me. LOL, and so i read the whole new testament and finish it within a month. But the sad thing was, i didn't really understand. So ,i started praying again, and i prayed to God that since He was sending me to Germany for a league tournament, God have to let me win, even i haven't train for a long time! I pray and pray,and when i was in Germany, God answered my prayers. I played 14 singles, and i won 13 matches and i think what God did was really amazing. When I was in Germany, all of a sudden, I was led by the spirit to read the bible again. I read it and for the first time, i understand. I was so happy. I read and read, i got more and more revelation from the Lord. There were nights that I couldn't go to sleep because God was showing me new things and giving me revelation, and i wrote everything down.

The very first thing i learned was to have Faith,Pray with faith! After a few days i knew about faith, God tested me. I was playing in Germany, and i felt and injured my back badly. THere was a "Pop" sound and as a player for many year,i knew right away that I was not able to compete in the tournament for at least 1 or 2 months.Then i remembered about faith. So i went back home, before i sleep, i prayed with faith. And i was confuse about having faith while praying. I do not know how to have faith while praying, so i just imagined myself getting well already while praying. The next morning,my back got worse,but i still pray with faith. Second day got even worse and then third day was the worst. I couldn't even straighten my body properly. So i prayed again in the afternoon. I prayed and said that "this time has to be it" in my heart. WHen i was praying, there was a heat flowing thru my back, my back was on fire, and after i said Amen, i stood up and my back was totally healed! I can run, jump and do whatever i want. God really healed my back that day and that was my first healing miracle. Ever since, my life is full of miracles. God showed more and more things to me and I get to know Him better and better each day. I held firm to every single promises He made in the bible, and believed that if Jesus said it, it is true and God will never lie. He will bring every single promise He said come to pass and He will never Fail me. I seen more and more miracles and I have never been this blessed before in my life.

Right now, I am still always traveling around the world for free, getting all my needs met by Jesus, got full-scholarship for studying, get to compete in tournaments and win good money, having my own family business which God had blessed me with good money as well,and I get to live for Jesus and share His love to other people and to experience countless miracles from God,our Father of our Lord Jesus CHrist. I can't think of anything better than this!!!
Ever since i turn to Jesus Christ,My Lord and the savior of all humanity, My life was totally changed, I am saved, I am going to heaven for sure, I am so blessed that my friends wish they could have my life, I am happy, I know the only TRUTH that everyone needs to know and I am experiencing His good and kindness every day. I love what Jesus had done in my life and I thank God that I am deeply and tenderly loved by Jesus. Jesus had healed,blessed,delivered,saved,changed me. And the best thing is, if He can do it for me, He can certainly do it for you. Jesus is waiting for you to be His , and He longed to blessed ,healed and changed you.

He said this " Do not be afraid little flock(child), for it is my Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.(everything in the kingdom is good and the best). -Luke10:21". So all of you who not yet come to Jesus, do not hesitate and quickly call on His name and He is more than ready to answer you. Jesus love you and God bless you!
